North Stars-Blackhawks alumni game revives frosty feelings
Completely unrelated to insurance but worth the read.
Dan, Linda & Bill moved to MN in 1986 from Wisconsin. The following year Dan purchased season tickets to the North Stars back when the seats were around $12 a game. That is where the Butler & Associates teams love of hockey started. When Dan would travel for business Bill would get to go to some of these great rivalry games. Having relocated from Green Bay there was already no love lost for any team from Chicago. This was the heyday for for rivalry hockey in MN and there was none bigger than the North Stars & Blackhawks. Bill will be at the Alumni game tomorrow, deep down hoping that the “old timers” drop the gloves for old times sake.
Whenever you meet with Dan or Bill at the Butler & Associates Office in Apple Valley you will notice the signed pucks, jerseys and line up cards. Anytime you want to stop in and talk hockey, just make and appointment and they will clear the calendar for you. Especially if you want to talk about the good old days at the Met Center in Bloomington and the North Stars era from 1986-1992. We are biased but that was the best place in the world to ever watch a hockey game.

Dan and Bill love the X but would trade it in to watch another game in Bloomington against the hated Blackhawks.
