Here in Minnesota and our neighboring states, the month of May is known for beautiful spring flowers. Alas, it is also one of the most active months for tornados and the start to our severe thunderstorm season. Since elementary school, most of us have practiced seeking shelter on the lowest level away from windows when the tornado sirens sound.
What they don’t teach us to prepare us for adulthood, is what to do after the severe weather has passed, leaving damage or destruction to your home or property in its wake.
